I think that a lot of Bones' "prejudiced" comments are more along the lines of "If he really meant it, he wouldn't actually say it." It's a bit odd because he doesn't have the long friendship he obviously had with Spock by the Original Series, but I think it's still button pushing to get a reaction (which seems even more in character for this Bones).

But then, I've only seen the movie once, and It's been a long time since I've seen any original series.
