OH MAN I JUST FINISHED LIKE...LIKE JUST NOW AND I AM SO FREAKING PSYCHED. AHHHHH. AV AND I WENT TO B&N YESTERDAY AND I TRIED TO FINISH IT LAST NIGHT BUT I HAD FREAKING SCHOOL SO. SO I JUST FINISHED DURING LUNCH. OMG my life. It is complete. So I find it utterly hilarious that the whole book focuses on Sophos (who I love) but I decided to reread the BAR SCENE WHICH I HEART SO HARD IT COMPLETES MY LIFE because it had REAL Gen in it and I just I just I mean I had to squee because I love him and that's why I love QoA so much and perhaps KoA a little less, because there's SO MUCH GEN. But I love Sophos being a BAMF and getting scarred up and rugged and I mean, getting really aweosme in the space of a short time. And he and Eddis are so fucking adorable, I love them so much and their relationship makes me so happy inside and Attolia, I LOVE HER she is wonderful, and she and Gen, and one of the best lines is about Gen and Irene sleeping with knives and handguns...yeah, that made me so happy, along with Sophos tripping Gen and being like Well that felt wonderful, the bastard, and Gen is like FINALLY that felt good too and like I said THE BAR SCENE made me happyful. And I hated the Mede so much, I mean the A-whatshisface guy with the name I can't pronounce. So much. Hate. And I sort of loved the parts though, when Sophos was a slave. Like. That sort of content that was beautiful and you're like I could go on hearing about this, after Sophos gets past his pity party and starts enjoying himself. And I was also sort of like AWWW because Sophos and his dad sort of stopped hating each other which was adorable and you're so right that Sophos's daddy and mommy are completely the Malfoys when bad people love each other and are secretly soft and fluffy with their feelings. Ohmygoodness. The bickering physicians, insignificant as that was also amused me. And GEN TELLING ABOUT HOW HE FELL IN LOVE AHHHHHHH. Perhaps I'm repeating myself at this point...just...man. I loved it so much. Especially Ion. I liked him. But boo that there was no Costis. He really made me love KoA. I feel like MWT was making up for lack of him with the other various lackeys who obligingly put up with Gen/Sophos/Eddis(sort of)/feared Attolia. But I agree, I think he'll crop up in the next book OMG TWO MORE BOOKS I CAN HARDLY WAIT. So. I must go finish reading Othello for English, and squee some more. AHHH I AM NOT GOING TO FOCUS AT ALL TODAY.
