OH OKAY see I mean my thing was Laemira was like WE DO NOT KNOW IF LOGHAIN IS IN ON THIS KEEPING-ANORA-IMPRISONED THING, AND HERE IS LOGHAIN'S LIEUTENANT, BETTER KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT and then there was no way we were winning that battle, and the surrender option is like WE'LL GO WITH YOU, LET THE OTHERS LEAVE and they do and so that seemed like the best option. I mean Laemira wouldn't know how to be deceptive if you bit her in the face (that makes no sense, moving on), but she's all about the sacrifice for the good of others.

and like as Anora points out, if she IS outed, then you know the lieutenant will just want to take her back to her father, which we don't want either.
