Then Alistair dumped her ass like a sack of potatoes. >.< Dora raged at him, and here's where the game gets glitchy, because something went wrong. Post-landsmeet dumped Alistair is suppose to have a "still-in-love" flag, but this Alistair didn't. This Alistair was all, "Hello my BFF! How are you today?" Which made no sense to Dora because, dude, he just dumped her ass in front of everyone she knew.
After that heartbreak, Morrigan offered her a way out, which Dora was not having anything to do with (remember, Dora and Morrigan hate each other, and Dora and Alistair just broke up). So dumped, heartbroken, and abandoned, Dora sacrificed herself to the archdemon for the good of Ferelden. Of course, because her game was glitched, she got a "Hey, you're my friend, are you sure you want to do this?" conversation with Alistair instead of this painstakingly sweet ending she should have gotten. At her funeral, all anyone (re: Alistair) had to say was that she was a good friend and would be missed. >.<
I was so livid I could barely see straight. Luckily, the internet told me what I did wrong, so I reloaded a previous save and fixed things, but still. ANGER. Sometimes I still get angry just thinking about it.
more because the tragic adventures are so tragic!
