It is an improvement but it's still just not quite right! And of course it's a fantasy novel so I have to straddle the line between "made up name" (Lilidor is the queen's name) and "name with one letter changed" (e.g. Eragon) and "regular name" (her brother's name is Jamie) and "that's just dumb name" (e.g. Po).
I have come to the conclusion that the internet is a black hole of time. And I don't have all that much to post on Sounis these days; just patiently waiting for the next one to come along.
Jury duty! I had that. I sat in on selection for a murder trial where the accused was pleading insanity, and I spent a few minutes in the bathroom between them asking questions and deciding who the jury would be praying that I wouldn't be picked, and then I wasn't! I wouldn't've been able to handle it. But like Peggy said in her comment on your post, jury duty rarely lasts longer than a day or two if you're not picked for one.

You are one of the most generous people I know, and your near-inexhaustible knowledge of All Things Vintage will never cease to amaze me. Your kids are lucky to have you to introduce them to all the wonderful classics, and I hope you got to go back to them quickly! :-)
