Well, no, see, I love Amy Adams and I love Giselle. My whole problem is how the movie is like "no fairy tales do come true except they don't come true" along with some highly complicated "wait was Giselle ever Edward's true love and wait if the whole movie is about how maybe you should get to know someone a little first [but at the same time you can still fall in love really quickly, just not at first sight, more like first five sights], why the heck do Nancy and Edward just run off together? Or is the Cinderella thing signaling their love is more fairy-tale-y, in which case, wtf dipsmooch" which segueways into my major thesis, "this movie is nothing more than a tale of a tragic loss of innocence and sexual awakening and damnit I don't want my Disney movies to be about that."
SHE DISCOVERS ANGER AND CHEST HAIR IN THE SAME SCENE THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING. *wraths*
anyway where were we--OH YAY I AM VERY GLAD TO HAVE YOUR PERSPECTIVE as a non-Trekkie! I am glad to know you enjoyed it. How much knowledge of it did you have going into it? None at all? Just basic Spock-is-pointy-eared-logic-man stuff?
mmmmmm even if I was looking to pair people off it wouldn't've been those two. but also, like, I wasn't looking to pair people off. That's TNG's job (TROI/WORF WHAT WERE YOU THINKING). :-b But man, my sisters were going on about Chris Pine too! And I feel like I would find him much hotter in real life than in person. He seems like my type (i.e. the type I get attracted to not the type that gets attracted to me back woe), tall and sturdy, but it didn't quite hit me from across the screen. Now, Zach Quinto as Spock was absolutely frickin' adorable. Except he needs to work on the eyebrow lift. :-b
LOL other thoughts on Chris Pine. ha-hahahahahahaha. Also LOL on the number of times you edited this. It was pretty impressive. :-b
