Mulan and Shang bicker maybe once? Except not even that much? Come on. I love them too, but as Ariel points out, they had about the twenty minutes between figuring out Mulan was a girl and the Emperor being like GO GET HER ALREADY. I mean okay, Mulan had a crush on Shang for a while, but anything Shang felt would've been in that awkward "but but I've never been attracted to dudes BEFORE" category that just makes people uncomfortable. And by people I mean Shang. I will give you the womanizer thing, but one of the aspects of Naveen I love is that they went into the whole "he doesn't know how to do anything because it was always done for him" and yes, you may argue that he could have tried to learn how to do things anyway, but would he even know what those things are?
(it is something I consider important to remember, when dealing with feminist criticism, that society causes problems for everyone, and sometimes it's not entirely the guy's fault, either.)
ANYWAY as for Glee, I'm kind of ignoring Will's storyline until they decide to leave him single. And have him move in with Sue so they can be fighting bestie roommates. Because I will watch that show so hard. I like how Rachel is calm with Jesse because they actually have a "real" (or at least he's doing a damn good job on his end) relationship, rather than her obsessive-compulsive take on Finn. Which, maybe once this is over, she'll be more normal in her approach to Finn. And I wish Puck had more scenes. And I agree about Finn and Kurt's parents--also I was really excited they acted like ADULTS. And I totally understand watching Glee from procrastination. As previously noted, I am a total sellout for caring at all. :-b
