It's like, I don't mind that Zutara didn't get a kiss--I mind that Mai and Zuko got a last-minute, weirdly-written and hatefully-animated (oh Korean animators, we appreciate that you feel our pain) kiss and that the show didn't ended on a prepubescent kiss when TWO EPISODES AGO she was saying "I just don't know!" without any sort of--anything. And that it didn't end with a shot of the whole gang.
I mean, it's kind of fandom's fault, for putting it in Mike and Bryan's heads that shipping was such a big deal--but at the same time, they shouldn't have sacrificed the overall story ending for that. (And I mean, the Kataang kiss was at least pretty, and she did initiate it. The Maiko one just really screamed last-minute shipping-necessitated sloppy work.)
