However, what I have to offer you today is that my brother and his wife also spent/are spending much of their first years of marriage apart. Luckily he was just allowed to come back from Afghanistan to meet his new baby son. I trust you'll find a way to deal. Sounds like you're already on top of it by focusing on the things you loved to do before and not forgetting to throw yourself into them. Good luck.
