So I seem to be spending the majority of my week not watching Dollhouse (but I will I will! Why did no one tell me Alan Tudyck is on it now? Also plz be forgiving misspellings of his name), but instead, rewatching Firefly a bazillion times.

Which reminds me.

I never did get any fic recs for the show.

Gen fic, Mal/Inara, Simon/Kaylee, hell even Jayne/Kaylee (in which I completely blame irrel for ever bringing it up), or even my own personal favorite crackship of complete doom, Badger/River, Zoe/Wash, Serenity rewrites, AU fics pretending aforementioned film never happened (heaven knows I do), anything. Just. Please. Feed the fic monster. She's hungry.

Most of my recs are Inara-centric, since I have this odd little fascination with Companion culture (and with Inara herself, as a character), though I could probably find you some more variety. For the moment, though:

Five Things That Never Happened to Inara, featuring Inara/OC, Inara/Mal, and a dash of gen.
Compassion, Inara on a typical job, but not with a typical client.
I Used To Think I Wanted Romance, Simon/Inara. (Not gonna lie, these two are my secret crack!ship, mostly because they would have really attractive children. They also come from the same world of privilege, which I find interesting. But mostly it's all about the pretty factor.)
A Million Light Years From Home, "You're a long, long way from home, but you're a good dog." Harry Potter crossover featuring Sirius. Actually (startlingly enough) really good.
