jade_sabreso mostly I just enjoyed this song for its ridiculous straightforwardness, but after watching the music video
I kind of love it in a shipper way! Like, it's not like he's going around and just being a jerk, but the music video is so equal-opportunity, and she's singing along too, and they're both having fun, and they're still together in the end! it is like the whole OH NO I'M A TOTAL PLAYER BUT LO I HAVE BEEN DRAGGED INTO MONOGAMY KICKING AND SCREAMING ALL THE WAY thing, only on both sides.

Date: 2010-11-25 08:48 am (UTC)Also, you should watch the BBC Casanova with David Tennant. I never thought I'd say this, but David Tennant pulls of the Casanova better than Heath Ledger. Maybe it was because the movie was more about the romance with, um, the female lead
oh crap what was her name?while the BBC series had that romance threading through the whole thing, but it was all this "doomed lover" thing and it didn't play around with all of his other lovers, which he had all over the place and also this (about 5.40 is where they start talking about Casanova and it gets hilarious.)
