So I heard this morning on the radio that Leslie Nielson had passed away, and I almost called Quark except I thought she was in class. Best response seen so far: a coworker on Facebook: "He will Shirley be missed."

EVEN MORE SADNESS HAS COME MY WAY, however, thanks to cleolinda: Irvin Kershner has passed away. This makes me very sad. Clearly, a movie-watching party in his honor is in order.

I actually flipped out when I saw that Leslie Nielsen had died. :( It's just. No.

It's almost like the summer of '09 when someone got a Death Note and started killing off famous people. I should be more respectful.

Seriously, though, this sucks. I didn't even know they were ill.

I was so sad to see about Leslie Nielsen. I just remember sitting with my family laughing so hard over Airplane! and Dracula: Dead and Loving It (at a much too early age, I'm sure).

I was in class, but I heard it on the radio coming home yesterday. Tragic.
