Ryan Murphy please stop writing you are a frenetic idiot there were so many good individual scenes in this episode but they weren't at all coherent and I didn't have enough time to dwell on any of them long enough for them to have true emotional weight, why do you ruin everything

also what happened to Na'vi-speaking!Sam? I miss him.

also how you managed to make Carol Burnett feel utterly superfluous is a talent that I think you should hide for, like, forever. SERIOUSLY HOW DID YOU DO THAT, IT'S CAROL BURNETT. I hate you forever, just for that.

"Dog Days Are Over" is pretty much my favorite song in the world right now. I was rocking out to it on my way to work this afternoon. Everyone around me thought I was nuts.

You should totally check out Florence + The Machine's other songs because I love those songs lots, too. (Between Two Lungs, Howl, and Kiss With A Fist are other faves at the moment)

Also, even though I haven't been watching Glee, I saw the wedding and it was the most ADORABLE. THING. EVER. And I love that song by Bruno Mars, so it made me happy.

Putting an entire proposal and marriage into one episode was stupid, because PACING MUCH? and also I thought the Kurt-focus during the wedding was (a) unnecessary and (b) creepy. Also the bit where Finn danced with him totally squicked me--kind of pat-the-puppy/indulge your crushy new gay stepbrother that you will never date awkwardly in semi-public. Blugh.

...Carol Burnette was the only thing I really liked in that episode, I think.
