Thank you, once again, f-list, for your timely obituary notices.

Robert Jordan died today.

Apparently about an hour ago.

This is breaking news, people.  As of this moment, Wikipedia doesn't even know.

Am trying to get onto his blog now.

I haven't read any of his books, but I've heard of the love/hate struggle people seem to have with their longevity.  Time to read, I guess.

Um, wow. I mean, it sucks that he died and all, but...

Well, I guess the ghost writers'll just have to finish the series. *sigh*

Hahahaha. Well, apparently he'd been working on book 12, though nothing's been released about how close to done it was, so yeah, his wife/editor will probably end up finishing it (from what I understand).

I read Wheel of Time (wow, books I actually read!), so this makes me sad. I wonder when Book 12 will come out; I think it's the last one (I HOPE it's the last one!) and I really want to see how the series ends. Whoever finishes it up has a lot of ground to cover, though!
