I grew up singing soprano, and there was a time (when I was doing Jesus Christ Superstar) where I was so warmed up that I could hit a high A without thinking too hard about it. At college, though, I sing second alto, just because I have to sing alto because that's where they had slots, and second alto because I love me some harmony.
(actually, when I get the chance, I just sing whatever harmony there is. High, low, I don't care, give me a perfect third and I'm there!)
Wow. An A? Impressive. AND you can sing second alto. Whoa. I'm all about the harmony, too.
I loved Color of Magic. After everyone's comments in Chatzy I didn't expect to, but it was so funny and I liked Rincewind. A lot. Went to the library today and got the Monstrous Regiment, but it may be awhile before I can start it.
Ooh, I can hit an A. You don't want to hear it, though...My concert tomorrow does feature high Gs, though, by the first altos, which is what I am. That's pretty much my last comfy note. *sends honeyed ginger tea for Jade's voice*
There was some legal dispute between them, but they settled it about three days ago. Shortly thereafter, the old guy perishes. Coincidence? I think not.
