Arthur C. Clarke died today.

Having only seen 2010 (and not really understood it), and having never read any of the books, my grief is somewhat understated, but I'm still sad.

awww man. He taught my Dad at uni, at some point. I haven't read any books either - okay,a few short stories poked on me - and I didn't get them either.
